Dog born with "human-like" face
Sent by Martha (obrigado!), photos of a dog that was allegedly born with a “human-like” face in Umbaúba, Sergipe, Brazil. Much better-looking than the pig that had a “human-like” face, born on Rio Grande do Sul a few weeks ago. Both are congenital anomalies, and the poor animals were stillborn.

That’s so sad.
It looks like to me that it is a dead,bloated pup.
The limbs are in the same position in every photo and that purplish color is the clincher as far as I’m concerned.

that is so sad. poor little guy. i am a lover of dogs and it breaks my heart to see something like this.
Ditto to the above. I am a lover of all dogs and animals and it really disturbs me to see something like this. Poor thing, my heart just goes out for it. Why do they have to make a show of things like this?

It’s a dead dog in discomposition the face is disfigured because of that you should see big dog

It says in the article that it was stillborn. It’s not like it suffered.
water puppy…it is a rare condition among puppies. This is really dangerous, the only way to get that dog back to normal is to wear rubber gloves and run your finger over the Genitals so that urine can come out and you know the water will be gone

The fifth is a dew claw…also known as a bird claw… a lot of bird dogs are born with them…they can be dangerous(in the way) so most breeders clip the fifth one off just after the pups are born.they serve no purpose other than to hurt the dog if it gets ripped off(its located higher on the leg as the animal gets older and may cause injury,ie if dog is walking through deep,rough snow..)
it is sad to see any animal stilborn…but it is fact of life…some animals dont make it…some do, the best we can do is learn from them, and try to understand life and why it works the way it does.

Wow, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what was wrong with it. they call them “water puppys” Its quite common. Its where the puppys are in the embryotic sac, and they end up swollowing most of the fluid. they can sometimes survive if a veteranarian is the one delivering the puppys by c-section

Wow I think its sad! I understand the whole water baby ordeal but at the same time do all water baby animals have such human like features? I mean look at his face poor guy he really looks human! His face is in tooooo much detail for him to just b a water baby I feel as if it is more to this story!
