Could it be that the Nazca Ridge and the phenomenum are related?

It seems possible the epicenter being on the Nazca Ridge axis. And the epicenter of the earthquake being way below the ground, maybe it mades it at the same level of Ridge.

The fact lights were seen over the water point a relation there. Some could think it is related to the lights, what are they, I do not know, but there is something previous of the appearance of the lights beneath the water. It is more likely to be related to the lights and the earthquake.

>
Actually, it's a lot more improbable than you might think. This sighting, captured with professional video equipment, involved some 20 to 30 larger lights, and behind them a cluster of what could easily have been up to 5,000 lights (in a roughly 50 x 100 swarm). In Lima, that would completely unheard of, unprecedented, and of no apparent reason for it. I think I should know, as I lived there for over a quarter of a century. We need another explanation, but earthlights (plasmas) are one that seem a bit more plausible to me. Possibly related to seismic/tectonic plate activity.
