Nazi UFOs: the comedy movie
Iron Sky will have Nazi flying saucers and an assassination attempt on president Jenna Bush. Check the high-quality teaser on Twitch, and if you know Forteana, you will have noted the teaser has some Haunebu flying saucers, part of the Nazi UFO mythos, which was thoroughly debunked by Kevin McClure.
This is looking like it will be a delicious movie. But if you can’t wait, just check this Japanese “documentary” on the subject over on Youtube (on 15 parts!). It’s not subtitled, but the cheesy dramatizations of flying saucers, including Nazis on the Moon and Mars, are more than worth it.
Seriously, and not very interestingly to you dear readers, that Japanese documentary was instrumental in my interest for UFOs. I saw it when I was an impressionable teenager, and even though I didn’t quite believe all the unbelievable things there, I was captivated by the idea of UFOs as actual, Nazi, aircrafts. Captivated is an understatement, actually. I was a believer.

Iron Sky seems amazing! Star Wreck already was…
But a little disappointment comes from the Japanese documentary…
Where are all the cries we are used to listen when space ships and the people of the rising sun are involved together?
The dramatic music and sound effects are there, but no “Implosion power!!” or “Vril strike!” at all
