		<description>Rings don&#039;t need shepherd moons to form. Moons keep their edges &quot;sharp&quot;. For example the animation shows gaps in the ring system that can only form because of moons, so that&#039;s not quite accurate. They might be located in resonance positions with the Moon&#039;s orbit, but I think there are just too many. Also, because of the Moon&#039;s mass and relative vicinity to Earth, I think the rings would have funny tidal waves and spiral structures.</description>
