Amazingly faked hoaxes

Or are they hoaxed fakes? Fact is, they are amazing works by “The Faking Hoaxer”. Keep reading for much more, including making ofs and ghosts.

How the video above was created, 100% CGI:

Now one reminiscent of the "Haitian UFO" videos:

And the making of – again, 100% CGI:

Note the “original footage” does look somewhat artificial, and it’s adding noise, camera shake, unfocused shots and everything that adds realism, by hiding the small imperfections.

“The Faking Hoaxer” also created wonderful videos illustrating some classic UFO cases: from the Phoenix Lights, to Apollo sightings and the recent wind turbine UFO (of course, there are explanations for all these cases, from the Phoenix Lights, to Apollo sightings and the recent wind turbine UFO, but that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate the imagination involved on what they could have been).

He also ventured into some hoaxed/faked ghost photos:

And there is still more in his Youtube channel! It may be a matter of time before one of his works hits Youtube stardom. French artist David Nicolas made several videos before one of them exploded and became one of the most viewed “UFO” videos in recent times.

    The Faking Hoaxer’s YouTube videos…

Someone who goes by the YouTube handle The Faking Hoaxer makes realistic videos of UFO visits, encounters with ghosts, and other phony events. Above, a video of the Space Shuttle destroyed in space. A video I made to show how the Shuttle may look if it…

This work rememinds me the work performed by Christopher Kenworthy in a joint project with the Australian Film Commission to release a fraudulent wave of UFO videos to assess the credulity of the people on these images.
Gradually the level of plausibility of the videos has been reduced and only when the last two videos (very implausible) are posted the people began to doubt the images.
It was a very interesting idea.
