UFO filmed from a plane over Belgium, 1954
A rare record of an unidentified object hovering over a town in Belgium in 1954 was recently released in compliance with the disclosure legislation.
The video was uploaded by “barzolff814”, who must be better known as David Nicolas, or perhaps best known as the French CGI wizard who in 2007 created the infamous “Caribbean UFOs”.
That is, this Belgium footage is obviously another of his impressive digital creations. Coming soon to another Youtube account near you, without attribution to the source, promoted as the real thing. [via Scepticisme Scientifique]

Good work, really nice CGI there. Pity the creator of the video neglected to have his UFO cast any shadows.
I think he sort of screwed himself. Zoom lenses fairly rare and expensive in 1954. They weren’t used often even in professional set ups until the 70′s, especially for motion film.

I can’t believe this guy gets credit for making fake UFO videos. These CGI effects are horrible. He gets paid for doing this? The Haitian videos are also awful. They look cool, sure, but in terms of representing “reality,” there is no doubt in my mind they are computer-generated, and any idiot can see that. I would bet that the “UFO experts” who were fooled were probably no experts at all.

It just felt far too smooth of a frame rate for that kind of footage, too.
